About the event
In collaboration, Diasporic Film Festival, Askkanwii Film Production, & La victoria Healing Kitchen present the 2026 Diasporic Film & Food Series. Proudly shown only at the People's Building, this event series brings multiple art forms together for a engaging evening of film, food and discussion. This is the first film in a series of cross-cultural story telling events, share and preserve our global cultures.
7 p.m. - Gallery Mingle (includes food & beverage* service): Guests are invited to The People’s Building gallery to view local art while enjoying beverage service and appetizers prepared by La victoria Healing Kitchen in collaboration with local chefs, known for its focus on food as a vehicle for community connection.
